Resumo
A troca de decúbito em pacientes acamados é essencial para a prevenção de úlceras por pressão, lesões cutâneas resultantes da permanência prolongada em uma mesma posição. Em um estudo realizado no ano de 2021, observou-se que as úlceras por pressão predominam entre adultos e idosos, com idade média de 67,79 anos. A maioria dos pacientes apresentava doenças infecciosas, múltiplas comorbidades e alterações nutricionais [1]. As úlceras localizam-se principalmente na região sacrococcígea, correspondendo a 86,79% dos casos analisados pelos autores [1]. Em outro estudo publicado no mesmo ano, as úlceras por pressão são mais frequentemente encontradas na região sacral (32,47%), trocantérica (32,47%) e isquiática (15,58%) [2].
