Resumo
A coleta de sangue é um procedimento comum em ambientes clínicos e hospitalares, sendo essencial para o diagnóstico e monitoramento de diversas condições de saúde. No entanto, a dificuldade em localizar veias em alguns pacientes, como crianças, idosos e pessoas com obesidade, pode tornar o procedimento desafiador, aumentando o risco de múltiplas punções e desconforto para o paciente. O venoscópio, um dispositivo que utiliza luzes para transiluminação da pele, vem sendo amplamente utilizado para facilitar a visualização das veias, melhorando a eficácia e a segurança na punção venosa [1].
